I’m Matthew Maniscalco, a lifelong resident of Oxford, Alabama, who graduated from Oxford High School in 1999. I went on to play baseball at Mississippi State University, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in general business administration.

I was selected by the Rays in the 8th round of the 2003 Major League Baseball draft and played five seasons of professional baseball in the Rays organization with stops in Charleston, S.C., Bakersfield, Calif., Visalia, Calif., Montgomery, Ala., and Durham, N.C. Each off season, I would return to Oxford to run the baseball academy my high school friend and I started in 2003, which is still serving our community today.

After retiring from professional baseball, my family and I moved home to Oxford, where I opened my State Farm office in 2010. I have been named to the Honor Club and recognized with Ambassador Travel status throughout my tenure with State Farm.

My office focuses on State Farm relocations to Oxford, Anniston, Munford, Talladega, Heflin, Jacksonville, Wedowee and all of East Alabama. We concentrate primarily on auto, home, health, renters’ and life insurance. Combined, my team and I have more than 70 years of insurance services experience.
